Greensburg Tutor Seeking New Students!

I have over two years of professional tutoring experience both in classroom under professor supervision and one on one. My specialties includes subjects such as mathematics and Spanish, but I have assisted students in other subjects such as composition, grammar, and history as well. So far I have found great success while working with my students, even improving grades from F's to high B's.

French Tutor From Johnstown Pennsylvania

I began studying french in the 9th grade, became President of my high school's French Club my senior year, and then attended the University of PIttsburgh at Johnstown Majoring in Creative Writing while working on my French certification. I have 40 credits and a 3.0 but am no longer able to afford classes there.
I like to cover the basics right off the bat, even if they may be familiar with them and then focus on whichever areas are most troubling for the student.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with preschool to high school age students since 2004. I have always had tutoring positions, whether it was for my peers in college, volunteering for the Salvation Army, or running after school programs after graduating. I am a PA certified tutor, with conflict resolution, mentor, and CERT training (Community Emergency Rescue Team). It is important to me to have a profession where I feel that I am helping other people to progress in their lives. A Little Bit About Me...

As a person who is both respectful and fond of the English language, I feel that I have an advantage in opening lines of communication with students. Because my area of expertise is language, I find it easy to express myself in a way that a student would understand. An important aspect of teaching is not only expressing oneself eloquently, however; it is also vital to be a good listener. This is something I pride myself on. If a teacher cannot understand what a student finds to be confusing, then the teacher cannot accurately solve a problem.
