Hello! I am a recent college graduate seeking my first full-time position in my field. With a lot of free time on my hands, I thought I would offer tutoring lessons for some of my favorite and most experienced subjects. First: I love languages! Japanese is my most skilled language (besides English), with Italian following behind. I would love to help teach others the basics of these languages. I encourage everyone to give new languages a try! I'm also skilled at teaching Psychology (my Undergrad) and ballroom dancing (my hobby).
The key to learning any skill is: Practice. I try to focus on that in my tutoring. I have taken many courses over an extended period of time. In 2002 I entered the Surgical Technology program at Jefferson Technical College; I managed a 4.00 and missed only a couple of days. During the many testing phases of the program I stayed and helped get other students through the program, I was commended on my drive and determination to help other students, all while maintaining my grade average. I pulled down some of the highest scores in the programs history. This didn't go unnoticed, as shortly after graduation I was asked by the Dean of Allied Health and Surgical Technology Program Coordinator to come back and teach. My experience as a tutor is with students that have learning and motivational challenges. I make sure that students become engaged in their school work by creating fun lesson plans. I am fascinated when students learn and improve their basic math and reading skills. Since, these skills are essential for them to find a job in the future.
