I believe each student can learn and it’s my responsibility to find how each one learns best. So much of it is about instilling confidence in the student that he or she is intelligent and capable of mastering the subject. I have been very successful at this and have often had short tutoring assignments: once we discover what is keeping a student from grasping the subject, fixing it is easy and then the student can proceed on their own with or without the help of a parent. I think the best way to teach is to try to find examples that my students will relate to when it comes to instruction. Students can have very different life experiences, which can help, or hinder, their ability to learn certain subjects. My role is to help those students that have difficulty with understanding certain subjects to work with them to come to an understanding of the material, and learn from it.

A Little Bit About Me...

For the last three years I have worked as a physics and mathematics tutor. Unlike most tutors I have experience teaching on the college level. I worked as an assistant physics professor at Eastern Kentucky University during my last year of undergraduate study. Currently I have a BS in Physics Engineering, which has allowed me to gain a thorough understanding of physics and mathematics. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate from both Bellarmine and Sullivan University, I was very head strong about my education. Earning two degrees was very difficult for me due to my learning disabilities. I have Dyslexia, ADHD, and a deficit in Reading Comprehension. I have overcome everything that came my way in my educational path. I have mentored and taught 5th grade children in the bible at Southeast Christian Church for going on two years now and thoroughly enjoy teaching them.
