A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked as a tutor for Pueblo Community College from 2009 to 2010. I have also coached baseball for youth from 2002 to 2004. Have have experience teaching young students along with older students.
On hands approach, using examples of real scenarios helping students understand not only how something works but why they would need it, or how to use it. I also use visuals to help show, for stundents not understanding from listening.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have substitute taught in grades pre-k through eighth and I have taught in a public school for two years. I also taught summer school in 2010. My experiences have added to my ability to reach all learners as well as teach students about respect and diversity. I am intensely involved in my student’s lives by building a strong rapport with each student and their families. This allows me to gain insight into each student’s home life, their interests, learning style preference, and readiness. By communicating on a regular basis, a family-school relationship is developed.
