My teaching style includes patience, listening and determination. While teaching at C.S. Lewis I not only taught but also learned. I believe that with children patience is necessary and primary. Then while you may be the teacher you also have to listen in order to instruct properly. Finally being determined because in teaching you have to not allow yourself to give up. Many times students become frustrated and want to quite, you have to be an example of not giving up. If you do this they will see you as an example and learn this behavior. Thus teaching by example, kids are sponges imitating adults and peers. I love children and enjoy working with them. I feel as if each child is different and unique in thier own way, thus when faced with a subject that is more challenging than another it is understandable. I have worked as a tutor for Pueblo Community College from 2009 to 2010. I have also coached baseball for youth from 2002 to 2004. Have have experience teaching young students along with older students.
