While working on my MS at the University of Tennessee, I taught lecture and outdoor laboratory sessions for the Ornithology course, which included about 30 students. My experience comes from a variety of places which accounts for my adaptability. I obtained an associates degree in Business Administration and went on to use that to get some experience in the business sector. I earned my Bachelors degree in Studio Arts and went on to get my Masters in Elementary Education. I graduated from a Pennsylvania Systems of Higher Education college with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Physics. When lecturing in an auditorium to two hundred freshmen, I had to keep to my lecture notes and prepared demonstrations, depending on the students’ initiative to ask the TA’s in the recitation sections about any difficulties. In a smaller class I could engage the students more, still keeping on topic but asking questions of the students and encouraging their questions.
