I first gained experience as a tutor as a senior at Westminster College where I volunteered as a science tutor in the college's learning center. I spent my time tutoring students in the subjects of biology and chemistry. I graduated as valedictorian of my High School Class with a 4.0 GPA. I also graduated with a 4.0 from Westminster College in 2003. As a fourth year medical student I have a GPA of 3.98 and am ranked number two (2) in my class. I graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor of science in biology and a minor in communications. Throughout school, I helped many students with a variety of courses I had already taken. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe every child learns differently, and that the presentation of information must vary on a constant basis. In order to keep attention of learners, new techniques and methods must be constatnly implemented to actively teach students. I feel that students learn best when they trust their instructor, and feel secure in there environment.
After college graduation in 2006, I subsitute taught for a year in Pennsylvania for a year before moving to Maryland to persue a permanent teaching career. I taught technology education in grades 6-8 before moving to West Virginia to start a family. My degree is in the field of technology education, but I also hold an additional certification in middle school math. I feel confident in my abilities to tutor math of all ages, as well as physics classes.
