I´ve been translating many documents English to Portuguese and vice versa. Also have experience on voice over. ADd subtitles to videos. Some transcriptions are part of my experience. I like to get online with My students and provide with a study dynamics which revolves on some exercises, speaking the language is important in order to be able to dominate it. Learn the basics in a really easy fashion, you can do anything if you put your mind into it. Several tests will be presentend on each stage of lessons.

My teaching style is very hands on. I understand that students learn in a variety of ways. Some are hands on, and need to actually get their hands on the project to understand. Some learn by seeing it. They have to see it and then maybe write it and learn by visualizing. Some learn by listening. They can listen to a lecture and hang on to every word. I understand that all children are different, and therefore lessons have to be taylored to fit each child's learning needs. I love children and enjoy teaching. When I was teaching in a public school, I was very well liked by both children and parents. I was there for every child; not just the good ones. I love teaching! I didn't realize I did until I began homeschooling my daughter but I do. In fact I plan on beginning my masters in Teaching this fall. I enjoy children and working with them. I have a lot of patience and am very laid back. There is no greater joy than seeing a child's face light up when he/she suddenly "gets it." I feel that no two children learn alike, and am able to adjust to that.
Reading has always been a passion of mine. My father was a historian and an avid reader and he passed along a love of both reading and history to me. I began homeschooling my daughter two years ago, and am instilling that same love of reading in her. I have found that no matter what you do in life, a strong reader will go far.
