I enjoy teaching and working with children and realize that each child is a unique individual with a different learning style. I tailor my methodology to each student and I strive to make a positive difference and impact on all of my students. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and have private tutored individuals across a variety of ages/backgrounds/abilities/disciplines. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, which has enabled me to enter the retail financial advisory World where a person's retirement assets are not something to be "gambled" with, since they will need their money in their later years when they can no longer work to produce income. I paid my way through college teaching driver's education at a local Christian school, and also worked as a part time Police Officer. When I was in my first year of college, I took a personality profile that was intended to tell me what career choices would suit me the best. I have always been driven to achieve a high level of excellence in everything I do. As a college student, I tutored many of my friends and peers for free. I have tutored several children since graduating college for free as well, and have always enjoyed helping others learn and understand new things. I love children of all ages. I am very patient and laid back. I am kind, and considerate of others. My goal would be to help the child learn and understand, while making the experience a fun and rewarding one. I believe everyone has the ability to do whatever they strive for. I had a teacher in my youth that made such a huge impact in my life, and I have always wanted to repay that favor to other children.
