I am a Marshall University student and Adjunct Faculty member. I have earned a bachelor degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Public Relations. In 2006, I received a Master's degree in Communications with an emphasis in Oral Speaking. Presently, I am two semesters away from an Ed.S. in Higher Education with hopes of entering the doctorate program next fall. I have taaught a variety of levels of Communication courses at Marshall University, MCTC, and Huntington Junior College.

I have learned problem solving and communication skills because of my many years of working with students of all levels as well as their parents. As a student at Georgetown College, majoring in El. Ed., I student taught in the 1st grade. My supervising teacher said I excelled in reading, and should pursue that area. I have taught 1st-4th grades, and tutored in elementary. I also minored in piano. I have given private piano lessons and done one-on-one tutoring with children and adults. I have a B.A. degree,a minor in Sociology and piano. I have many years of volunteering with children and adults. I enjoy working with children and beginners in both areas.
