I use visual and auditory means to show the proper way to record the transactions then have the student repeat back what I said and enter the data to further enforce the method. After all is said and done, I show them the results from the transactions cause and effect on their books in the profit and loss, balance sheet, general ledger.
33 years of accounting, bookkeeping, tax, payroll, journal entries, profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow, budgets, fixed assets, depreciation schedules, sales tax, excise tax, and consulting. Worked with industries in wholesale, retailer, and services. I handle companies with cash and accrual base accounting with C & S Corporations, LLC, Partnerships, and sole proprietors. Even as a student i helped my fellow students to understand and grasp the subjects they were having difficulty with. i can generaly spinn the information into a subject matter that interests the individual or just explain it in an easier to understand manner, offted they just get lolst in the language of teaching. i minnored in math, and majorred in science and agriculture in high school, ansd took veternary technology in colledge this involved mostly biologies and lab technigues.
