A Little Bit About Me...

Since I was a teen I have always wanted to be a teacher. I am presently enroll at Converse College in the Master Program. I am very driven to become a certified teacher. On June 12, I will be taken the teacher certification exam. I have earned a Bachelors in Business, an Associate in Arts and a Diploma in Computer Operations. These degrees have provided me many opporunities for advancement with previous employees. Recently, the company I was working for closed, this has allowed me to persue my life long dream. I have been substitute teaching and I love it.

I am the kind of person who prefers to set aside that assembly instruction manual and put together that Christmas toy by laying out the pieces in an orderly fashion. There is so much pleasure in problem solving. I learn by asking myself questions. I have little patience for mundane drills and memorization if they can be avoided. Each child is different. A Little Bit About Me...

Although I have been self employed for the last 6 years, I went back to school last year to add Science and Math for middle school to my certification. I passed the Praxis for both of those subjects spring of 2010. I was not able to get a full time teaching position this year. I went back to working for myself but would love to tutor.
