I am currently teaching Japanese in the continuing education department of a community college. My classroom style is extremely thorough, but also humorous and serious at the same time. I love working with children. I've taught acting at the Durham Arts Council for three years. The duties from that position included directing students in performances which I helped them create. The plays were written around themes chosen by the camp director. So, in essence, the children and I would research those themes and develop stories which I would then turn into plays using my expertise.
