Student-Centered Approach which means teacher is the authority figure, but the student plays an active role in what is learned. The students are learning the information the teacher is giving, and the teacher is learning how best to approach his students.
My mom is kindergartner and teacher of Russian language and Literature. I used to help to her 1-2 days a week. A Little Bit About Me...

I was born in Talas, Kyrgyzstan. I graduated high school early at the age of 16 to start on my Master's degree in Linguistics from Kyrgyz National University. While attending school I studied Russian, English, and Chinese. In 2005 I left to Afghanistan to work on an American Air Force base. I came back to Kyrgyzstan in 2006 to finish my degree. I am currently a student at Fontbonne University in Clayton, MO studying English.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a ESL part time English instructor for non-native speakers in St. Louis Public Schools. I spent 1 year as a substitute contract/teacher of ESL and introduction to cultural connections to high school students. While at Soldan Intl Studies High School, I worked as a full-time ESL teacher, helping students from Bosnia, Somalia, Russia learn to read, write and speak English. I have used various video and audio tapes to enhence learning. Created hand outs to accommodate different levels. While at local ESL school helped adults learn English from beginners to intermmediate. Also helped advanced level students with TOEFL preparation. I graduated from Maryville (GPA 4.0) in summer 2003.
