This fall, I begin my twentieth year as a teacher. My comments on tutoring Language Arts : I have been pretty good in English. My mom has her BA in English and I have defiantly picked up her English genes

I am currently a senior at Sherando High School in Stephens City, VA. I have always been and A and B student. I currently have a 3.5 GPA and received a 1300 on my SATs. I love to help others out in any way possible. I love to meet new people and help them achieve in school so they can a have promising future! I have taken Honors World History I and II, I have taken College Prep English 11 and am currently in College Prep English 12. Language Arts is one of my top subjects! I am able to assist in almost all aspects of English Language Arts through college level (ex. reading comprehension, composition, grammar, research, etc.).

Let's start out by saying I am definitely not your average tutor! Fun is vital to motivation, and I live on the stuff! My comments on tutoring Language Arts : I have taught approximately 42 credit hours of language arts instruction at the college level.

Interactive! Students need to apply what they have learned, to reinforce the learning cycle.
My instructional experience includes over 230 credit hours of composition and language arts instruction, including creative writing, literary analysis and Shakespeare. However, most of the instruction has been focused on composition. I developed a bachelor level English course for Pearson Education, working as a writer on a team of three; the course was deployed nationally at over 100 campuses.
