I believe if we can integrate content with cross-curricular themes and skills such as writing across the curriculum in all subjects, not just during the language arts block, All students can access prior knowledge and reframe their thinking when appropriate. I have greatly enjoyed my experience as a Substitute Teacher and Literacy Volunteer as I truly enjoy helping others.
