For the past 7 years I have limited my assignments to "Home/Hospital". I meet 5 hours per week with each student to provide complete instruction in all subject areas for the student(s) unable to be in the regular classroom setting due to illness. For older students I use a type of Socratic method where instead of answering questions for them, I work with students by requiring them to answer questions so they can lead themselves to the right answer.
