There are several different styles of teaching. I experienced hands on teaching through the lab courses that I taught. These experiences showed me how important hands on learning is to understanding difficult and complicated concepts. Sometimes, while defining a problem, it is also important to look at the problem critically and identify why certain attributes are arranged in a certain order. Good visualization is also very important in Mathematics and the Sciences; therefore, I make heavy use of illustrations and the graphing calculator.
