My most recent rewarding interaction with kids has been been the result of functioning as a mentor for the LC Bird High School robotics team. I've have been able to motivate many general students to join the “robotics geeks”. I find that all students have something valuable to add to the team if they are just approached and guided appropriately and offered respect. We will go over the concepts and do some exercises that will help to answer questions and deepen understanding of the source material. I am a William and Mary graduate with a BS in Chemistry, with several years of programming experience from developing my own computer games. As a graduate of Elizabeth City State University, I pursued an education in Computer Science with a minor in mathematics. I have gained experience in the these two fields in which I excel in.
