A Little Bit About Me...

I began to work at Regions Bank in New Albany the Summer after my Senior year of high school. While still working for the bank, I attended Ole Miss for a year, then transfered to Northeast for the next year. I returned to Ole Miss to recieve my bachelors degree in Managerial Finance with an emphasis in Investments. I am now employed for a furniture company out of Tupelo, where I am an Accountant. Although I do not have much teaching experience, I am quite knowledgeable with Financials and Accounting Principals. I have turtored a few children in mathmatics, and I also helped other classmates.

Before earning a BA in Biology at Skidmore College and after graduating high school, I took three years off to play hockey. Concurrently, I enrolled in classes at Mount Wachusett Community College in Massachusetts and tutored in the math department. I tutored students in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and some calculus. At Skidmore I continued in math, taking calculus I, II, and III, and linear algebra before focusing my attention on molecular biology. A Little Bit About Me...

While studying for my undergrad in economics I found a passion in helping others succeed as I was. I often held study sessions with groups ranging from 2- 10 people at least twice a week. When during these sessions if an individual felt lost, I would often meet with them at a later date to coach them separately. I have yet to receive a further degree in teaching but may be a path a may take. It is such a wonderful feeling to succeed at academics and I love to help others experience that.

I attained my first degree in Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University in 2003. After working in that field for a few years, however, I chose to change my career path. I then went back to school at the City College of New York to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. I am happy to say that I am graduating this month (December 2010), and have not regretted pursuing this second degree at all.
