I enjoy being around the students. I wake up every morning wanting to go to work. There are so many students that learn in many different ways and I have always structured my lessons to try to reach all of those students. I have many hand-on activities and also power-point lessons. The day that the teacher sits behind a desk and has the students reading from books are long over. Students can be and are easily frustrated with work that is either beyond their ability or more advanced. Frustration can be either eliminated or reduced when students have a better understanding of their work.
