Microsoft Office is one of my top subjects! I am a microsoft certified instructor since 2009

My teaching style is comfortable. I want to be comfortable and I want my students. If everyone is comfortable and not tensed up there's the possibility for a lot more learning. I try to let students learn at their pace. And in the case of the Microsoft Office products I prefer students use their own data as to learn the product and how it relates to them.
I've taught in the corporate environment. I've taught in the college environment. And I've been a personal computer consultant. I've taught "Intro to Computers" online. When I teach on any level and in any environment the focus is on how the student. Therefore, the cornerstone of all of my teaching experiences is that I speak in English rather than in computerese.

While attaining my genetics degree at Ohio State, I worked at the OSU Chimpanzee Center. After graduating, I started working for the Department of Agriculture in the Weights and Measures division. It was my job to try to "trick" the scales before they could become available for commercial use. I moved back home to Coshocton when I got married. I quickly found a job teaching adults within our county's GED program. During my years at The Ohio State University, I earned a B.A. in Psychology, and completed a year and a half of Masters work in Social Work. After completing my B.A., I was hired as a professional tutor. I tutored college students in various subjects including English and essay writing, Psychology, Reading, some Spanish, and Social Studies.
I love working with children, and feel that I can relate to them because I struggled in my early school years.
