Science made easy through illustrations

I always teach through illustrations and examples so that the student can explain anything in his own words when he/she understands.
I have given lectures about basics of microbiology and also virology on particular. I have taught post graduates during my Ph.D and explain everything in detail even now to my colleagues. My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : Intensive elementary science course taken at MSU.

I can teach in any style that suits the student. I am flexible with whatever excels the students learning the most.

Although my degree is in music education, most of my teaching was done in Christian schools. I have taught math (through Algebra II), English, grammar, history, and science. I would be proficient in any math through Algebra I and any English, grammar or history through grades 12. I have taught grades 3-12.
I have high expectations of students, but I adjust my "teaching style" to the student. For the struggling student, I usually begin at a level that they can easily perform. From that platform, we progress step-by-step until we find the area of difficulty and why it is there. When we master that, we move on. There are a variety of techniques to use, depending on the problem and the student, but the general expectation is that they can do it.
