College student looking to pursue growth in you and herself

My teaching style all depends on the subject and the student. Everyone learns differently. Unfortunately, the public school system seems to disagree with that. I begin by assessing the type of learner you are and from there I pick my teaching style.
I have experience in and outside of the classroom in all of the fields I listed. I have a strong interest in mathematics in the areas of algebra, geometry, and statistics. I have completed 9 credits of statistics and 6 credits of algebra. I can also tutor in business and psychology. I have been working with in academia for the past 3 years and am working towards becoming an adjunct-faculty at the local college.

My method is to reach students exactly where there at and use methods that would stimulate all types of learners . Once I was teaching a group of sixth graders who would be entering Algebra soon. I gave them a true life math example. Our equasion; a party with the number of students, quantity of different items and costs. When we devided the items their costs with the number of students we came up with how much each student had to pitch in. In this example I had some items that were to be used and they were able to touch them. I also told them very clearly what was going on while I was writing it all down.
