My comments on tutoring Political Science : I have my B.A. in History and a minor in Philosophy from the University of Colorado. It would be juxtaposed if anyone claimed to understand Political Science, but I do have a minor in philosophy and I am an avid follower of contemporary politics. Today will be history tomorrow!

I have found that no matter how much anyone person would like to teach, no one can force someone to learn. With that in mind, if I remember to approach each student as an individual with his or her own abilities, concerns, and goals, I will have a more successful result as an educator. When working towards my teaching certification I was in many classrooms from Kindergarten to 12th Grade in Pueblo School District 60. After graduation I applied and got a teaching job and I taught at Skyview Middle School in District 49 for 4 years teaching Ancient Civilizations. Before that I was a substitute in District 8, 2, 3, 60, 48 all southern Colorado school districts.

At the outset of the personal computer revolution I sold and supported Tandy computers. As part of the support function I instructed clients in the use of their computers. A whole new world blossomed for me. Teaching clients to use their computers turned out to be a long term and very rewarding experience.
