I have taught as a TA at Wright State University 2 years in interpersonal and business communications, I taught 1 year at Wright State University Branch Campus interpersonal communications, business communications, communications in the classroom, and mass media. I taught 3 years of English for Ft. Wayne Community Schools to high school students in the Youth Life Skills program. I have had nearly 2,000 hours of anatomy course work as well as I've taken biology, chemistery, and pharmacology at Indiana-Purdue University of Ft Wayne. I worked as in house counsel for seven and a half years in Fidelity National Financial’s Chicago claims department, handling title insurance claims generated by property in multiple states of the country. For the last four of those years, I was in a supervisory position with respect to the other members of my “team.” My primary job responsibilities have included coverage determination of title insurance claims and management of outside counsel. I reviewed policies and applicable law and provided guidance to other claims administrators in the department as to their handling of claims. I have experience in every level of student. My first degree (A.S.) was in Engineering and I worked at higher level math, including a college Teacher's Assistant in Calculus. I went on to obtain a B.S. in Education. I took the coursework for Middle and High School endorsements in 4 other subject areas. I work in Remedial Education at a local university currently. I have been teaching children since 1990, when I worked as a Naturalist for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. I did this kind of education for 3 years. I then created my own educational company and presented workshops on natural resource topics for children and adults from 1997-2002. More recently, from 2006-09, I worked both as a substitute school teacher and a contract tutor. I am presently presenting weekly tree programs at my local Boys and Girls Club.
