A Little Bit About Me...

I am a Mechanical engineer with a very strong math and science background. I used to be part of the Mu Alpha Theta (Math Team), Spanish and French team while in high school and have tutored many fellow students while getting both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I have participated in the Hillsborough County science fair for the last three years, and have really enjoyed interacting with the elementary school students and teaching them about science. Mechanical Engineering is one of my top subjects! I am graduating with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in May, and my top subjects in the field include Statics, Dynamics, Controls, and Mechanics of Solids.

I am a firm believer in the effectiveness of the Socratic method. Rather than tell the student how to solve a certain problem, I prefer to ask guiding questions to encourage them to think critically about the problem and reach the solution on their own. This leads to the student being more familiar with the thought process involved in solving the problem, and leads to them being more comfortable solving the problem independently later down the road.
