Hands on, and more of an application study. I believe that the only way to actually understand something is being able to apply it to real world situations.
My experience is all in college. I had 9 Labs in college in all my science courses. I excelled very well in my science courses and i keep learning. Did great in my research project class. Played college baseball so i am great with athletes that do not want to study. I can break down big concepts into smaller concepts that is understandable for all students in the academia process. I have taught an array of Biology courses at College level for over 10 years. During my time as a Graduate student at Louisiana State University, I have taught college freshman and have tutored high school students. After receiving my PhD, I taught Biology at Rogers State University. I am very comfortable teaching a wide array of Biology courses.
