My comments on tutoring American History : I can tutor students in the different areas of Social Studies such as World Geography, etc..., in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. I have not taught High School Social Studies. If needed, I can assist a high school student with Social Studies.
I am a cettified teacher in the state of Texas in both Special Education. I am certified to teach all levels of special education grades K-12 and regular education grades 1-8. I taught special education grade 1=5 for nine years. I taught special education grades 6-8 for four years. I taught regular education grades 5-8 for a year. In that year, I taught 5th - 8th grade English and 5th, 7th, and 8th grade Social Studies. I volunteered in a PreKindergarten class for a year so that I could expand my knowledge of age groups that I have not previously served.
