A Little Bit About Me...

During the past four years, I have obtained a BS in Accounting with a Concentration in Fraud Examination and a Minor in Business Management. I have been employed full-time as the Business Manager of a private, not-for-profit Christian school, and as the Business Director of a student newspaper, The Voice. I have worked continuously in the educational setting with students, staff, and clients. With the vast array of individualized learning abilities, styles, and patterns I have come to be very successful in enabling others to understand such areas such as math, finance, and accounting.

As a senior student at Misericordia University, I was and still am driven to achieve a high level of excellence in my classes. I will receive my Master's in Physical Therapy in May of 2011. I have performed extensive study in a gross anatomy laboratory and I have taken and excelled in many science courses. I believe that everyone is teachable, if the student has the desire and the teacher has the commitment. I tend to be a patient teacher, with high standards. I actively question the student, which allows me to challenge the student in my presence, where I am able to guide him/her. While I have predominantly tutored college students, I have also taught adults and children. My sister-in-law is probably my biggest supporter, since she has watched me teach my nephews (now 9 and 10) an array of subjects over the years.
