Spanish is one of my top subjects! I have a B.A. In Spanish, as well as experience tutoring high-school and college students. I have also taught Spanish classes to children ages 2-12.

I have a four year degree in Spanish and enjoy helping others who are striving to learn the language. Throughout my career, I have tutored college and High School students in many areas and levels of Spanish and have seen them improve their Spanish skills and bring their grades up. I have also taught Spanish classes for a private language school for children, ages 2-12. Therefore, I have experience in lesson planning, student assignments and class preparation. I have traveled to Mexico several times and have lived on the Mexico/U.S. Border. I have spent time talking to native speakers from Spain, Panama, Mexico and Bolivia. In my studies I have learned about the different cultural aspects of Latin American countries and the different dialects.

My comments on tutoring Spanish : I have 15 years of teaching experience and 3 years of tutoring experience of French and Spanish, so if you're looking for someone with experience and knowledge of students' common struggles, I'm the tutor you're looking for!

I taught high school for 16 years and left the traditional classroom about 4 years ago to become a tutor. I have tutored both privately and for corporations, usually on a one-on-one basis and have really enjoyed the change from teaching many students at a time to tutoring students individually or in small groups.
I am energetic and enthusiastic and try to motivate my students to learn to appreciate a new language and culture. Once I have worked with a student for a few sessions, I am able to ascertain which particular issues that the student is having with the language; for example, if he or she struggles with grammar, listening comprehension or speaking. After we have identified the student's particular struggle, I use techniques to motivate students in which areas cause them the most difficulties.
