I believe in working collaboratively with each other. Basing lessons on things that you love will will help you see the real life connections and importance of education. A Little Bit About Me...

This is my second time tutoring and my first time was a great experience. It was stressful a first but after I formed a bond with those I tutored, everything else was simple. In high school, Math as never my strongest subjects, and it still isn't unless its Elementary Math. I had to take ALGEBA 1 three times! Any History subject and Language Arts is my strongest areas. I'm a warm, dedicated person that enjoys to learn and teach.

I worked for Project Transformation through SMU. I tutored high risk and underprivileged children in Oakcliff with after school homework help. Their ages ranged from 5-12 years old. I along with my fellow tutors also provided extra intellectually stimulating activities when they finished their homework such as future planning and education regarding different cultures.
I provide as much one on one attention as possible. I provide examples, write out explanations using the board, and try to help the child progress without giving them the answer.
