My style is to teach practical and easy tools in each subject so that students acquire their own skills in the development of exercises and in the resolution of problematic situations I am a teacher in Chemistry and Biology and I have a Master degree in Industrial Microbiology. I have served as a substitute teacher in Hayward, CA for 1 1/2 years. I worked as a tutor for Learning & Loving It in San Jose, CA for 3 years. I served as a tutor and teacher of adult education in Loganville, GA for 1 year. I am currently on the substitute teacher roster for the Vicksburg School District, and I have been so for two years. I first introduce myself and get to know a little about the student I am tutoring. Then, I establish a baseline of what they have learned so that I can direct my attention to their strengths and weaknesses. Finally, I get into the material with the student and show them how and why the material is important and applicable in the world in which we live.

The key to successful teaching is finding out how your student learns; auditory, visual, didactic or with a combination of learning styles. I try to make learning fun and relate it to things that they may find interesting. I am a college graduate that has spent the past 8 years working in health and science education and development.
