I tutored math from college algebra through differential equations for two years (4 semesters) while attending Penn State. I have a BS in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in math and currently work as an engineer. I love working with students. I tutored Calculus through the Peer tutoring program at my high school and at my College. I enjoy math and enjoy watching others learn it as well. Because of my love of math and hands on work I chose Mechanical Engineering as my major with a minor in Architecture. I am doing very well so far and enjoying it also. I am a visual learner and the best way to teach would be to give the learner something he can visually grasp. First if possible demonstrate visually then combine that with numbers and show the proper steps to solve the problem algebraically. Then offer different situations and examples for them to practice.
