One of my key strengths as a science and math teacher is that after receiving BS & MS chemistry degrees, I’ve spent over 20 years as an industrial scientist (Allied Signal Aerospace, Eastman Kodak, & Ford). As a Michigan resident, I was unable to find sny substantial work in the fiels of Social Work once I earned my BA degree. So, I worked in 3-4 school districts over a two year period before gaining full time work with the State.
