I believe my teaching style is very adaptive to the age and need of the learner, however, I require parental support, dedication, and willingness on the part of the student to make my tutoring approach successful. I have studied 4 different languages over my 5 years in college. I am most proficient in Russian and French. I am a perfectionist with great attention to detail. Russian I am able to assist with up to an Advanced level. 5 years of French, 3 years of Russian. I immigrated to the United States in 1995 with my husband, Jack, a retired Colonel in the U.S. Army and our daughter Susanne. I have a lot of experience translating but also teaching. I have taught at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA and at various community colleges in Germany (where I taught English).
