i take a more relaxed route of teaching. i have found that if you sit there and point out faults and appear like you expect them to get it right on the first try it will turn the student away from you and cause them to hate the subject and ultimately fail. i take a more friendly route. talk about myself admit faults that i have when they appear. i try to become friends with the student in question and add fun with learning. if there is something specific that is needed extra attention to i will ask them to do the problem and point out there faults. i do not do everything for them. i let them test there knowledge and provide support when needed.

In my experience as a musician, I have found that teaching a subject I love can really inspire students to excel. It's necessary to spread our knowledge to others. My specialty is music, but I love to teach in general because kids need good mentors. Each child is different so I use an individualized approach to my teaching styles. I have recently retired from the U.S. Army as a medic. During my service, I was frequently responsible for both formal and informal teaching and training.
