My comments on tutoring Continuing Education : I am still on my own personal academic journey as a graduate student, along the ways I have developed strong techniques in maximizing test scores. My experience and advice will only help.

I am a newly grad from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs; I earned my B.A. in History and a minor in philosophy. I maintained a 3.5 GPA and had the honor of being selected to study abroad at the University of Puerto Rico while writing my senior thesis on the socioeconomic conflicts of Puerto Rico's independence movement. I will be pursuing my Master's degree next fall, continuing the path of academia. I relate well to students because I am a lifelong student. Also I am a husband and a proud parent of three children. I am experienced at running a healthy household where academics reign supreme; dictatorship is often avoided under the guide of homework being an opportunity to show off. Kids find that fun. I have recently retired from the U.S. Army as a medic. During my service, I was frequently responsible for both formal and informal teaching and training. I learned to easily adapt to various learning styles, learning barriers, and researching subjects. While still in the service, I utilized my lunch breaks and evenings to further my education and emerged with my AA and completed Nurse Assistant training while still serving and my BS only one year later; two months after retiring.
