My professional experience has been divided almost equally between teaching and administrative jobs. I have approximately ten years of teaching experience including employment as an adjunct instructor in a college-level Intensive English Program, a business education teacher in a large public high school and a junior-high English teacher at a small Christian school. I also homeschooled my two older children during their 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade years. In addition I have roughly 14 years of administrative experience including serving as secretary to the president for a regional university and for the non-profit foundation associated with the school. I worked as a purchasing secretary in a large nuclear component plant and as office manager for a small manufacturing plant as well.
