In my military experience, I see all sorts of learning styles and ability levels. I am able to break down hard concepts of math/science/engineering so that regardless of learning style, we can work towards understanding. I find that many students struggle because no professor has taken the time to relate it to the student in a way that they can internalize and retain. I firmly believe that everyone can reach their potential if high expectations are set and a path to reach goals is set forth. I chose to become a teacher in my spare time because I think that children deserve to be pushed to the highest standards to achieve goals, so the student’s success is my total focus. I am a BE-Electrical Engineer (Telecom Major). I Graduated in 2007 from PAF-KIET, an excellent technical Institute in Pakistan. In my four years as a student, I tutored a number of junior students in Engineering courses and tutored A & O Levels Students in advanced Maths and Physics. I believe that, although learning comes when you are a student but understanding comes when you start teaching. I always tell my students to be open and forward. I have been an Engineer for over 20 years. I have 3 children the youngest in Middle school, the other 2 have graduated High Schcool. I hav ebeen mentoring in the community for 3 years in math and 4 years during college tutoring in math, engineering, and sceince. I come from a family of teachers, Mother-Elementary, Father-9th grade English, Brother-Middle School Math. There is not much I haven't seen or heard about children learning and I take the time to get to know the pupil before, during and after our sessions My teaching style is process based. Know the fundamental process for solving a problem then repetition to recognize how to get to a solution.
