A Little Bit About Me...

I've been passionate about math and physics for as long as i can remember. In high school I was enrolled in every AP math and physics class I could get my hands on, including Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Multivariable Calculus, Vector Calculus, and Differential equations. I continued to pursue physics as an undergrad at UT and am currently a senior set to graduate in december with a bachelors in physics. My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : We have both online and Austin area in-home tutors for math. Each has either a science degree that involved math up to Calculus or higher, or a math Degree. Some are also Certified Math teachers too. Call us to ask about the exact teacher in your area and their skills specifically. If we do not have one, we can provide one within a reasonable time. Each Certified teacher has the ability and skills to individualize the teaching style, based on the child's learning style. Due to this, we offer for the teacher or tutor to do an assessment on the first session at the same fee as the tutorials. Once they do this, they are required to teach or tutor in the style fit to your child's learning and other skills for their potential and to help them reach their academic goals.

I have been a tutor for the past five years. I have experience working with students with different levels of comprehension, i.e. those struggling to graduate and coaching those involved in UIL academics. I was an accomplished UIL competitor as well as a coach of the number sense/math/science teams at the previous school where I was employed. My strengths lie in mathematics (Calculus for example) as well as physics.

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies degree. I am a certified teacher that specializes in Mathematics. While in school I tutored for the athletic department for four years in many subjects of mathematics. I also completed 2 internships and a semester of student teaching in 3 different middle schools.
I love tutoring mathematics and find it rewarding when my students succeed and learn to love math as I do.
