A Little Bit About Me...

As a high school student, I attended Tiffin University to gain college experience and credit earlier than expected. After graduating from Clyde High school, I went on to Ohio State Mansfield, where I majored in psychology and special education. I am currently a full time student at Ashford University online. I am studying to become an advocate for special needs persons and children. I have been tutoring students professtionally for the past year. I specialize in reading and math. I have experience with k-12. I am also comfortable with special needs and developmental disabilities.
My teaching style is basic. I feel it is most important for a student to grasp the basics before they can move on to more complicated subject material. My teaching style is hands on and what I would call explanatory. I have found that people learn concepts better if they understand why something is done rather then just being explained how to do it. I also believe in helping the student work through the problem rather than just telling them how to do it.
I have a vast array of experience in the accounting field. I have accounting experience from an entry level accounting position up to being a CFO for five years.
