To do this, when coaching Chemistry, I would have the student present a problem. Then, I'd say, well, let's figure this out together. And, truly, that is what we would do, step by step, by asking questions. What do we know? What do we need to figure out? In my junior year, I was asked to apply to an invitation-only program for an an accelerated MBA program only for exceptional students. I am now entering my final year of this program and will graduate in 2011 with a BS in Business Management and a Masters degree in Business Administration. I approach teaching as a challenge; as I know not every student learns the same way. I first start by finding a common ground; a level of knowledge if you will. Essentially I find what they know and where do they need help. From there I like to find out something the student has an interest in; thus allowing me to relate subjects to something they find interesting.
