As a 2008 graduation of Westfield State College with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education I have enjoyed being a high school English teacher for two years. My training prior to my career involves experience with English at all four high school levels, drama (both academic and extra curricular,) speech methods and instruction, and urban school environments. Additionally, career opportunities while teaching have allowed me to pursue new and progressive methods of teaching literature and writing.

Art and education has always played an integral part in my life, as witnessed by my college degree and professional career. My BA degree in film from Emerson College provided me the opportunity to successfully create, critique, and study art. Post graduation, I was hired immediately by the Worcester Art Museum. I love teaching because it provides an opportunity for both teacher and student to learn new things. I also believe that by applying appropriate teaching styles, the most difficult subject can be very easy to the students. I believe in getting students involved in their studies by making it fun. A child needs to study but must have fun whilst studying.
