I can relate best with the student/youth.

Very relaxed, easy going, friendly. I feel less pressure and non stressful settings help students learn better. They can relate to a younger person who is more in tune with youth and someone who understands them.
I attended Rufus King World IB High school in Milwaukee, Wi, one of the most prestigious inner city high schools in the country. I excelled in IB Geography, Chorus, and Theatre. I was one of those kids who never did any homework, but passed my tests. Everyone came to me for help on projects, homework, ect. I feel that I didn't fully utilize my strengths in school as I could have, so I would love to share that with those who need it now.

I have just recently started to pursue my doctoral degree in educational leadership at University of Phoneix. I have always had a passion for mentoring, teaching, and advising young people. I have had tons of experience working with youth and mentoring them. I believe that all students can learn if they are taught in a style that is most conducive to their learning style and motivations. I do this with a series of loaded questions meant to grab the students attention where I then work my way into the next lecture.
