I love to teach children and have fun at the same time. I love to incoprate games, i.e. jeopordy, or watch various DVD's on the subject that I am tutoring. I also realaize that not every student leanrs the same, what may work for one may not work for another. I am a senior at the State University at Albany, where I am majoring in History. I am aniticapting graduating in the summer of 2010. I earned my AS degree in Liberal Arts. I currently work as a after school counselor at PineBush Elementary in Guilderland NY. For writing, usually I conduct some exercises. The level of the critique and what to say depends heavily on the age of the student. For grammar, I would either find or create my own practice materials and we could go over whatever is necessary until I've decided that the student is making improvements or the student has succeeded. Over the past year, I have tried to extend my ability to share my love and appreciation of English and literature with others.
