I have a number of mnemonics for helping my tutees retain the material they've spent time learning. In college I don't tutor professionally because of time constraints, but I help other students understand problems they may be having difficulty with. I have 6 years of substitute teaching experience in the Washoe County School District in Nevada, as well as at a charter school. I taught junior and senior high school for two years from 1966 to 1968 in Bay City, Michigan. Additionally, I taught the SAT Prep in Math for one year at Tarrant Community College in Fort Worth, TX. I was a GED teacher for three years in Dallas, TX from 1997 to 1999 and taught defensive driving for five years in Louisville, TX form 1994 to 1999.
