This rigorous program has taught me the importance of fulfilling one's potential, the vitality of good study habits, as well as giving me an understanding of children and adolescents. The past two years I have participated in a youth summer program for high school-aged students. I have been a teacher and tutor for a few years. I taught in a high school English and Music. Right after I graduated High school I was asked to help struggling students and teach a bit when the teacher was gone. Also I have worked in Elementary schools I have taught lessons at least once a week. I have been in teaching methods classes and I have take Education psychology. I have also been able to in three months encourage students to improve grades that are at a 50% low to a 90-100% high.
I teach from the core of a person they have the inner agency to choose to succeed and they can succeed if they desire to be great they will be great. Also I believe in teaching through the nine learning intelligences as well as the six thinking hats. Also I teach by blooms taxonomy up to synthesis and evaluation. I am up to date and have read many books and taught in these styles.

A Little Bit About Me...

I've gained experience with teaching in an array of ways. Firstly, I'm a recent graduate from BYU-Idaho in Piano Performance earning my Bachelor of Musical Arts. Throughout my training as a professional pianist I studied piano pedagogy and now have a functioning piano studio of my own. In addition, I was a music tutor and teachers assistant helping my fellow students grasp music theory concepts. Furthermore, I worked as a youth counselor at a summer camp called Outdoor Youth Activities (OYA) where we specialized in working with young teens.
