I graduated from Washington High in 2006 with my High School Diploma. From there I went to Worwic Community College part time while working full time to pursue an Associates of the Arts in General Studies. This degree was completed in 2010. After that I moved on to Salisbury University to pursue a Bachelor's Degree with a dual major in History and Psychology with Minors in Philosophy and Women's Studies. After one year of study I found myself suffering financially so I returned to Worwic Community College to pursue an Associates of Applied Science in Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Management with a specialization in Hotel Management because Ocean City is a predominantly tourist based town. A Little Bit About Me...

I’ve always enjoyed teaching others, whether I was a kid tacking up my pony and giving informal riding lessons or leading fellow undergrad students through the forests surrounding Salisbury University’s field station. In the past two years, I have discovered a passion for children. I immensely enjoyed the summer I spent teaching riding lessons in Colorado and realized how much I wanted to continue with the education process when I returned to the Eastern Shore. I would say that my teaching style is very interactive. Anyone can give instructions but I love feedback from a one on one situation as well as a group environment. I base alot of my instruction on analogies; when a person can relate an experience or another word to a term being tought, their understanding is broadened and 99% of the time embedded in the longterm memory.
