As a graduate student, I have successfully tutored a number of undergraduate students. I received my BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Currently, I have 15 graduate semester hours including Advanced biochemistry, parasitology, Advanced botany, and Plant development. In addition, I have extensively learned proper laboratory research paper formatting. I have tutored Anatomy/Physiology, general chemistry, and pharmacology.
I enjoy teaching and helping other students understand difficult material. I love to use diagrams and other visual teaching tools. I have recently graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Genetics. During college, I taught/tutored 7th graders at a local middle school in the areas of math and science. I was responsible for full lessons as well as small group tutoring and science experiments. I was able to set-up lessons for the children to explain how math and science works together in order to provide data. Therefore, the students were able to understand how data transforms from quantitative data to qualitative data through graphs and pictures. I have approximately one year of experience of professional teaching working with a grant funded program at UNCP. With this program was very hands-on and interactive with the students. I worked directly with the professors in the science department.

As a recent graduate from East Carolina University, I have obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Throughout the extensive coursework, I became an excellent source of information, whether it pertained to science, math, or English. I have written numerous laboratory reports, as well as many papers. I have helped other students in their quest for higher knowledge by giving them advice as well as helping them in what they are having trouble with.
